The Theatre Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2019. We seek candidates to teach global performance history, acting non-realism, and related courses in the candidate’s area of specialty. ABD candidates will be considered, although those with a PhD or DFA are preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate active creative and scholarly research interests and activities, as well as significant professional artistic experience. The teaching load for this position is four courses during the first year and five courses thereafter.
