The SMFA at Tufts University Print & Paper area is seeking a Part-Time Lecturer for a one-semester appointment for Spring 2026. PRT 0120 - Publishing Now is scheduled to meet Thursdays from 3pm - 8:30pm. The instructor will also have the option to serve on end-of-semester review boards and provide feedback to students working in all media.

Qualifications

We are seeking a faculty member who is well versed in various approaches of printmaking and multiple uses of printed matter as fine arts practice. The ideal candidate will be able to teach this course from multiple diverse perspectives in contemporary publishing and incorporate presentations and discussions into classroom teaching. Candidates must have an MFA and at least 2 years of teaching experience or other relevant experience.
