Job Summary
- Teach applied Brass, Brass Methods, Chamber Ensemble, and Music History
- Teach related methods and music literature courses. All faculty are expected to participate fully in departmental and university affairs: this includes serving on committees, academic advising, and student recruitment.

- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Candidate should have a strong record of teaching and performance excellence in directing collegiate and secondary school band/orchestra programs
- Significant commitment to music performance and education.

- Teach Brass method classes
- Teach music history and /or sight singing and aural skills
- Conduct chamber ensemble develop brass ensemble

Qualifications
The applicant must have a minimum of a Doctor’s degree in Music with a strong background in applied Brass. College teaching experience preferred. Experience with Orchestra is a plus. Ability to lead Brass sectionals in jazz,wind ensemble and Marching band settings a plus
