A Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related qualification (NQF Level 8) with at least two (2) years of industry experience or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. Certification as an IT Technician in CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional will be an advantage. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving skills, outstanding organisational and time-management skills, an in-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks, and good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles. Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite of products and mastery of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linus, etc). Teach digital badging classes in the Adobe Creative Suite.  Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.) Check computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality. Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications. Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance. Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems. Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment. Organize and schedule upgrades and
