The School of Art’s New Media and Design program encompasses a range of conceptual and technological approaches relevant to contemporary art and design practices. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate education, creative research in art and design, and will provide service to academic and professional institutions. All faculty participate in and contribute to curricular development, program evaluation, and recruitment. Ideal candidates will have strengths in areas such as interactive art, digital art, internet art, generative art, or interaction design. In the cover letter, candidates should describe how their experience with inequality has informed their discipline, typical practices in their field, and the broader university environment, as well as how this has or has not influenced their professional work.
